Camp on Hunter Mountain’s majestic mountain-side. Tent campers must transport their gear from the parking lot to their campsite by hand, so bring a wagon. Sites are not pre-assigned; you can claim your own site when you arrive and camp with your friends.

Camping with a Friend?

If you are camping with a friend, and personally do not have a campsite decal, take advantage of our free shuttle service! Free parking is located at the Hunter Mountain Airport, and our free shuttles will pick you up with your gear, and drop you off right on the mountain.

Shuttle Schedule will be posted closer to the festival.

Don’t feel like dragging your gear up the Mountain? A limited number of car-side camping sites in designated areas. Drive in to your 11 x 30 campsite and enjoy the convenience of having your car and all your belongings with you!

Car Camping Passes must be purchased in addition to your 3-Day Pass with Camping, Outlaw Pass with Camping, or a Super Outlaw Pass with Camping (1 per vehicle). All Car Camping sites must have exactly 1 vehicle (no more, no less). That means that you can’t have two cars on one site, and you can’t have two sites for one car.

Car Camping options include Bear Creek Car Camping, Regular Car Camping, Mountaintop Car Camping, and Outlaw Car Camping.

Near-Car Camping

Camp in close proximity to your car (parked nearby) on the west side of Hunter Mountain. Each Near Car-Camping Pass allows you to camp in one designated 10×10 site and park one vehicle in the nearby Tube Town Parking Lot.

Not up for tent camping? Bring your RV to the Taste of Country Music Festival! Each individual must have a 3-Day Pass with Campground Access, an Outlaw Pass with Campground Access,, or a Super Outlaw Pass with Campground Access to camp in any of the RV camping areas.
