Hunter Mountain is located just over 2 hours north of New York City in the northern Catskill Mountains of New York State. Whether you are coming from the north or the south, Hunter is a convenient half-hour ride from New York State Thruway exits 19, 20 or 21. Please obey the posted speed limit signs while on your way to and from the mountain. Local law enforcement agencies strictly enforce the posted speed limits and seat belt laws.
