Kids Activities
Taste of Country Music Festival is a fantastic place for some family fun and offers a tremendous amount of activities and attractions for young Jammers throughout the weekend!
Children aged 10 and under are admitted FREE if accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. However, due to security concerns, we cannot admit more than 2 children under 10 years old per supervising adult (4 children per family). You may be asked to present proof of age (such as a birth certificate) if your child appears older than 10.




Ethel M. Slutzky National Honor Society
We are excited to welcome the Hunter-Tannersville Central School to the inaugural Taste of Country Festival. The Ethel M. Slutzky National Honor Society will be present with their vivacious and talented squad of artists. This team of young talented artists will be heading up and managing interactive kids stations throughout the festival grounds. These stations will include the Tabularasa, Fairy House construction and Tipi building located in kids areas and the AV. The students work along side their mentor, Ritamary Montano-Vining. RitaMary relocated to the Catskill Mountains 20 years ago, she established a community in which art appreciation and creativity are pushed to their limits! With this groups upbeat and positive outlook on life, ALL will be inspired. Leave your inhabitations at home and join in the fun!
Ash Street Puppetworks
A team of Artists and Performers welcoming ALL Creative Beings to join them in parading their 12′ high Puppets through the festival crowds. Offering arts and crafts, toys and games in the Kozy Kids Korner as well as Puppet Parades for the tall and small. Throughout the day all Festival long. The ASP attraction is not to be missed! Come in and talk to Ducky about how you can be a part of the excitement! We are located above the main Festival Field above the Kozy Kids Korner. You’ll see us, we want to see you!

Wayfinder Experience
Imagine a world where heroes and villains are in a never ending battle between good and evil, where the laughter of faeries is echoed by the roar of dragons, where powers exist that can raise the dead, heal the wounded and enchant the living. Now, imagine yourself within this world…A hero of Legend! The success of your quest depends on you alone. The Wayfinders Experience combines the energy of a sports camp with the creativity of an arts program and the strength of a safe and supportive community. This activity is open to all ages and will meet at 1pm on Friday, and at 10am on Saturday and Sunday in the Awareness Village!
One World Puppetry
Based out of Massachusetts, One World Puppetry creates a dynamic and interactive element. Make sure to check the schedule for all sorts of activities, including a daily puppet show! All are welcome to share in the fun! Be a part of the magic as wondrous creatures roam the festival grounds. Stop by the tent for some live art entertainment, get your face painted, and frolic with fairies! Join in the puppet parade as we dance, twirl and play. One World Puppetry delivers an enchanted experience for all to enjoy.
